JSTEM Academy Capstone Project (30 Day Push)

  • Week 1
    • Develop solution concept demonstrating a broad range of STEM skills
    • Write project proposal with business case, scope of work, time estimate, and deliverables
  • Week 2
    • Instructor will provide feedback and recommend revisions if needed
    • Student will present final project proposal to stakeholders for buy-in and approval
  • Week 3
    • Student will self-manage project to satisfy business requirements and deliver on-time, fully developed system, meeting all elements within the scope of work
    • Student will conduct end-user training on the new system
  • Week 4
    • Student will work with end-user “client” to correct any issues found during training/testing of system
    • Constructive feedback will be delivered through a grading rubric, scoring the project against original proposal and desired business outcomes
