JSTEM Academy Capstone Project (30 Day Push)
- Week 1
- Develop solution concept demonstrating a broad range of STEM skills
- Write project proposal with business case, scope of work, time estimate, and deliverables
- Week 2
- Instructor will provide feedback and recommend revisions if needed
- Student will present final project proposal to stakeholders for buy-in and approval
- Week 3
- Student will self-manage project to satisfy business requirements and deliver on-time, fully developed system, meeting all elements within the scope of work
- Student will conduct end-user training on the new system
- Week 4
- Student will work with end-user “client” to correct any issues found during training/testing of system
- Constructive feedback will be delivered through a grading rubric, scoring the project against original proposal and desired business outcomes
